Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in multiple countries since, Charles eventually made his way to Los Angeles with a belief that dancers are equal parts artists and athletes. A student of movement, he pursued his passion for dance while pursuing his long term goal of physical therapy. His intent is to better treat dancers and other movement artists as high level athletes.

As a dancer and choreographer, Charles has had the opportunity to work in live performances with companies such as Nike and Microsoft. He has been an integral member of  11:dance co and Culture Shock DC|LA. Working with these powerhouse dance companies has given him the opportunity set national award-winning choreography. With his dance rooted in hip hop and house footwork, he works to blend together his experience with martial arts and dance styles to continue discovering his own unique style.
